GUILDFORD DEANERY

GYM (Guildford Youth Movement): Space 2b U
This is a youth group for those in school years 10-13. The group meets in St Joseph’s Church hall, Guildford from 8-10pm every Friday night. GYM is all about a safe space young people can be themselves. Every evening we have a teaching element that aims to inspire and strengthen the young people’s personal faith/life journey but also to strengthen their understanding of the Church. This page on the Guildford Cluster website gives more details.
jGYM (junior Guildford Youth Movement): God, Games, Grub
This is a youth group for those in school years 6-9. The group meets in St Joseph’s Church hall, Guildford from 6-8pm every Friday night. jGYM is a great space for youth aged 10-13 to come together, make friends and get to know God. The evening starts off with games then we come together and share a lovely home cooked meal. Then the teaching starts, led by a team of young people from GYM; but it’s not a boring lecture, we make it fun with small group activities, competitions and the occasional silly game. Altogether it’s a great couple of hours! This page on the Guildford Cluster website gives more details.
