Many people are unaware that 2011 marks the thirtieth anniversary of an established youth service in the Diocese of Arundel & Brighton.
In order to mark this, there is going to be a huge celebration at St. Wilfrid’s School in Crawley on Saturday November 19th. This is the weekend of The Feast of Christ the King, which is the last Sunday of the Church’s year. This, of course, is also National Youth Sunday in England & Wales.
The celebration is in it’s early planning stages at present, but it’s likely to be in three stages: a bit of a trip down memory lane, followed by Mass with Bishop Kieran, and then live music.
Timings aren’t confirmed yet but it’s likely that the event will run from mid-afternoon until late in the evening.
So, put Saturday November 19th in your diaries!
